Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ years of experience related to software development, preferably in ML/AI.
  • 2+ years of experience in a role managing releases, quality requirements, or risk assessments for technical products.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, data protection practices, and ML lifecycle tools is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI technology
  • Experience developing and testing computer software and/or online services.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills to address complex problems and issues​
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, tools, methods, and processes from Microsoft and the broader industry.
  • Proven ability to create clarity, structure, and drive attention to detail in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience or interest in AI governance, security, Responsible AI practices, or compliance programs.
  • Cross-team collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
  • ​​Drive cross-functional programs focused on Responsible AI, compliance, and security for AI and data science capabilities across the Microsoft Fabric platform.
  • Define and manage end-to-end quality and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to Microsoft’s compliance and security standards.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure new features meet internal and external regulatory, ethical, and security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain clear program plans, risk assessments, and readiness processes for AI and ML-powered experiences.
  • Lead security reviews and quality gates for data science and AI features, coordinating fixes and
  • Track and manage program milestones, risks, and dependencies with good attention to detail and a bias for action.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, governance, and external stakeholders to ensure responsible delivery of AI solutions.
  • Addressing customer pain points and leveraging the opportunities to improve systems and processes
  • Work across multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) across divisional boundaries.
