Required/minimum qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR 5+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing Information Security, Privacy and Information Governance solutionsleveragingMicrosoft Entra, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Priva and Microsoft Purview offerings or other DIB industry-aligned Security and Governance platforms and/or solutions
  • Working knowledge anddemonstratedskill implementing solutions across the Security Development Lifecyle and integration security principles,patternsand practices into the DevOps lifecycle in an enterprise environment
  • Working knowledge and application of Zero Trust Principles, Patterns and Practices, Security Threat Modeling and Mitigation, Security Posture Management and Device and Workload Protection in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Microsoft security solutions (M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel) or, one or more related technologies such as Prisma Cloud,Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, Splunk, etc.

Other Requirements:
  • Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
  • Microsoft is unable to sponsor a work visa for this role due to the nature of the role’s job duties.
  • Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.

Additional or preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain andmaintaina United States Security Clearance.
  • Proven ability to lead technical engagements (e.g., hackathons,PoCs, MVPs) that drive production-scale outcomes.
  • 6+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
