Who you are
You are interested in starting a career in sales and be attracted to a more customer-facing role (SDA). You will be someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious, as well as likes to work on meaningful innovative projects and is energized by lifelong learning:
• You will ideally be in the last stages of your education and ready for your first career step, so you could be bachelors or master´s student,
• Under Spanish law, your university must be able to sign a tri-party agreement with SAP as without it we cannot consider your application
• Your preferred field of study should have a commercial focus such as Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing, Data/ Process Management, IT/Digital Transformation etc
• You are ready to commit to a full-time 6-month placement (Full time is 39.5 hours per week)
• You possess knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Canva etc
• You pay attention to details as well as the ability to deliver highly qualitative work and results
• You are strongly driven, proactive and collaborative with an adaptable problem-solver mindset
• You are an active listener, so you understand assignments, and deliver expected results
• Best practices in digital prospecting such as:
o Deep understanding of industry-specific trends and challenges and how SAP brings value to them
o How to prepare and engage with prospect decision-makers at C Level
o Effective objection handling to unlock challenges and needs that SAP World Class Solutions can solve
And you will
• Learn and understanding the basics of good data management enrichment, such as profiling, target accounts, industries, personas (typically c-level) etc.
• Learning how to use reporting tools
• An appropriate level (role specific) of customer-facing time along with our Business Developers
• Leveraging, nurturing, and accelerating marketing digital intent signals to qualify accounts, identify prospects with the highest propensity to buy
• Finally, we ask to all our trainees, to proactively find your own successor by acting as a Trainee Program Advocate, such as promotion via social media, university, job boards, etc.
