The Strategy lead will be the leader responsible for the design and execution of a long-term strategy for Goldin. This includes leaning in to lead existing strategic initiatives and working hands-on to identify and lead net new investment activities.
What you will accomplish:
- Responsible for driving the development of a data-driven long-term vision and strategy for Goldin
- Analyzes/models projects and develops presentation materials for leadership approval of strategy with grounded justification
- Develops materials that effectively communicate insights and recommendations
- Ensures the objectives are aligned with the critical initiatives of the business by working with key partners in the business
- Owns, drives and manages a planning process for resourcing and delivery of long-term vision and strategy
- Plans and co-ordinates the roadmap and capabilities to achieve the long-term vision and strategy
- Manages the roadmap and stays on top of key dates as well as their movement
- Delivers process design for special projects as they arise
- Builds credibility with business partners to gain support for analysis and recommendations
What you will bring:
- Passion for developing strategies for a two-sided online retailer
- Passion for the Hobby with a keen focus on monitoring and designing leading customer-first digital experiences
- Ability to build out cases for executive approval by working with internal stakeholders, and developing business case from research and financial evaluation
- Finance exposure and P&L management a plus
- Ability to analyze data and develop initiatives to create compelling and grounded strategic proposals
- Bring order to ambiguous situations, taking on challenges with high visibility, and bringing others on the journey
- Untangling sophisticated processes, crafting strategic roadmaps, and telling compelling stories
- Executive-level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tell a compelling story backed by data

Qualification Preferences:
- 10+ years of experience in an online marketplace, digital platform, or related e-commerce business
- 5+ years in a collectibles or trading cards related business preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Management Consulting, M&A or strategic partnerships capacity preferred
- BA/BS required, MBA or similar graduate degree preferred
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$132,000 - $212,000
