The Risk & Control Analyst is a key role which supports the governance framework to ensure a robust control environment across all Bank Network Management (BNM) global functions through coordination of risk related deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain BNM’s inventory of Risks and Controls
  • Assess residual risk above risk appetite and support Senior Leadership team to establish adequate controls and monitoring methods
  • Coordinate Continuous Risk Management reviews and support Annual Risk Assessments with BNM management (control owners)
  • Perform ongoing control monitoring, independent control testing and produce management oversight control reporting
  • Maintain Control Monitoring test scripts, including annual review and ad-hoc reviews to ensure scripts reflect up to date process and remain effective
  • Coordinate Regulation Applicability reviews and Impact Assessments with process owners to ensure regulations are well understood and relevant processes are compliant

Ideal background:

  • 1-2 years of experience in areas related to internal control, external or internal audit, compliance, risk management
  • Bachelor’s or University degree
  • Fluent English knowledge with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and intermediate Excel skills
  • Research, analysis, and inquisitive skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management is a plus OR Working knowledge of Citi Risk & Controls (MCA modules)
