• Work with other Database Engineering teams for knowledge transfer of new product/technologies.
• Act as a point-of-escalation within the Database Support Engineering team for technical issues during an assigned shift.
• Help provide solutions when working with customers to identify and remediate issues in the Database instances.
• Directly create documentation and provide oversight and peer review of change control documents written by other team members.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 2 or more years of experience working directly with customers.
• 2 or more years of working closely with database technology.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with database design and management.
• Experience with any of following: Cloudant, MongoDB, Postgres, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elastic, IBM Cloudant, Db2 offerings.
• Great communication and soft skills
• Solid experience creating technical documentation for current and future state database support needs.
• Skill in problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution of database issues.
• Ability to both work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
