As a Client Solution Engineer, you'll be a key player in the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership and owning solutions to enhance our customers' experience. You'll collaborate with colleagues, support our sales team, and translate business objectives into compelling recommendations. With your technical and sales skills, you'll present our product offerings, address objections, and inspire confidence in our technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Function as internal and external key thought leader within your domain
- Establish high technical credibility and professional rapport with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Contribute to Mulesoft viewpoints for the (B)NL market,delivering demonstrations, business value assessments and other impactful go-to-market assets
- Actively enable the broader Solution Engineering team and multi-functional distribution team to more effectively position the value of the solutions within the Salesforce portfolio
- Collaborate effectively with other Solutions resources across the ecosystem
- Convey a deep understanding of the client’s industry and technology as it pertains to Mulesoft’s solutions
- Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, build and present customised demos of Mulesoft products including solution concepts to key decision-makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge vital to be effective in the position
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
- Respond efficiently to market consultations, RFI's and RFP's
- Have a strong curiosity about growing your career and participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives
Skills Required
- Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training success for an enterprise software solution organisation.
- Excellent presentation and composure abilities in front of all levels of technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to establish trust with clients and to influence key decision makers
- Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently
- Able to demonstrably lead architectural discussions
- Proven time management skills in a fast paced team environment
- Ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energizing environments
- Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge and best practices
- Ability to travel as needed and to work flexible hours
- Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
- Fluency in Dutch and English
Skills Desired
- Mulesoft Product knowledge and certifications
- General or specific experience in Integration/API technology, AI and Data topics
- Hands-on development experience and ability to code and debug against APIs is preferred
- Experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, etc. is preferred
- Recognised qualifications attained from other technology vendors or accredited institutions
- Deep understanding of the business requirements of customers within multiple industries and being knowledgeable of industry-specific solutions
