Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing setting strategy and driving implementation for affiliate programs.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating directly with influencers, engaging with a diverse range of audiences from grassroots to celebrities or similar groups.
  • Experience working with executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years in Affiliate Marketing OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years in Affiliate Marketing OR equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Minecraft; and understanding of the Minecraft community and franchise.
  • Experience working with global brands and practical experience creating both global and regional strategies.

Design & Strategy:

  • Define the vision, priorities, and success metrics for Mojang Studios’ affiliate program, aligning to revenue and brand growth goals.
  • Design program structure, including incentive models, content eligibility, campaign types, and seasonal activations.

Partner Management:

  • Establish and manage partner selection criteria, onboarding processes, and governance standards for affiliates and creators.
  • Manage direct relationships with high-value partners and platforms, developing co-marketing opportunities and tie-ins.

Campaign Management:

  • Provide brand-safe creative assets, messaging guidance, and compliance rules to ensure alignment with Minecraft’s voice and values.
  • Lead campaign activation by setting timing, focus, and incentives, while driving collaboration with marketing, product, and commerce teams.
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, building a sustainable “always-on” affiliate program that delivers measurable business impact.
  • Own the strategy and day-to-day execution of Minecraft’s grassroots creator program, scaling participation and strengthening community ties.

Operational Management:

  • Monitor performance, analyze results, and optimize campaigns using data-driven insights to scale what works.
  • Oversee integration of tracking systems, tools, and workflows to enable measurement, automation, and long-term scalability.
  • Ensure financial stewardship by modeling payouts, negotiating terms, and enforcing compliance with Microsoft policies.
