Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, Presents, and Publishes monthly business indicator report to PC executive team detailing sales trends, forecast trends, and future design win trends. Compares to general market trends

  • Works closely with sales management to forum sales strategy and assign KPI’s for OEM sales account team and OEM regional consumption leads

  • Prepares customer meeting content and external presentation content for critical events. Leads cross team content / report for key issues forums and cross team updates.

  • Mentors others to provide comprehensive operational support for business unit strategy and initiatives based on advanced knowledge of relevant business systems, products, processes, and procedures. Helps implement operational strategies for the team.

  • Presents and communicates on systems enhancements, products, processes, and metrics.

  • Manages customer setup activities, including inputting customer information and contract executions, and oversees the timely delivery of key materials and information to customers.

  • Flow price quotation to customers in coordination with business unit segment lead as well as financial manager, contribute to deal discussions, issue pricing book for customers, and resolve complex pricing execution issues.

  • Reviews market or KPIs against department goals. Manages overall customer opportunity and forecast.

  • Manage and maintain regional databases to create efficiency and ensure security.

  • Builds, maintains, and communicates demand plans and statements to support product or customer requirements. Monitors supply and demand to identify issues, reviews gaps or discrepancies with stakeholders, and recommends solutions.

  • Translates and communicates market research to report on sell in/sell through trends, value chain, and market shares.

  • Monitors and updates plan based on an advanced understanding of program/product metrics (e.g., forecasts, budgets, demands, KPIs).

  • Collaborate in managing forecasting analyses and reports of key metrics across multiple tools or systems to understand and ensure demand needs are being met.

  • Guides others on gathering, integrating, and interpreting information from a variety of sources. Seeks information within and across teams to help identify fundamental patterns/trends and troubleshoot problems.

  • Works with individuals across functions and with partners to integrate complex projects and/or ensure changes work with other components of a specific project.

  • Acts as a liaison across departments to communicate information and resolve conflicts in implementation schedules, operational challenges, or other complexities.

  • Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for large and/or multiple projects.

  • Re-scopes projects, identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.

This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 10+ years of business operations or related experience.

Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 12+ years of business operations or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience with ERP, CRM (e.g., Sales Force), business analytics (e.g., Tableau), Microsoft Suite, or related systems/applications.

• 5+ years of relevant technology industry experience.

• 5+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

• 5+ years in a leadership role with direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).

• 4+ years of working with P&L responsibility, operating budgets, and/or project financials.

• 4+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).

Level of Responsibility:

• Works independently with no supervision.

• Provides supervision to other supervisors/managers who are direct reports.

• Decisions are more significant in their impact, influencing overall program or project success, finances, and/or the ability to meet objectives. Errors are not readily apparent due to the complexity of work process/product or time between decisions and results. Errors typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds to correct.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.

• Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department. Erroneous decisions, failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and result in the re-allocation of some resources.

• Has a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that will have substantial impact over the organization).

• Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; tasks require simultaneously executing multiple cognitive abilities and maintaining information in short or long-term memory while performing the task.

• Regularly determines what needs to be done and is involved with sharing innovative solutions to achieve broad policies and objectives.

• Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.

• Develops, redesigns organizational strategies and provides overall direction for various functional areas and/or entire organization. Has influence over the formulation and achievement of long-term business plans and objectives.

Pay range:

$169,000.00 - $253,000.00
