Job Area:
We are looking for a social media coordinator to join the digital marketing team to manage the day-to-day operations of our social media channels. The ideal candidate will have experience with project management, writing and responding to social media posts, and working on corporate social campaigns. Reporting to the Manager of Social Media, the right candidate must have the ability to coordinate our daily publishing of corporate and executive social content.
This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
Associate's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Communications, or related field.
• 3+ years of Social Media or Marketing Communications or related work experience.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Leading daily social media post publishing process and assuring that content is posted across all channels, including corporate and key executives
Foster communications that build trust and credibility internally and externally, including leading meetings, documenting next steps, supporting accountability with follow-ups, sharing work, clarifying feedback, etc
Owning our social media management tools, including Sprout, Meta Business Manager, and various ad accounts
Working with our social media agency to identify conversations for engagement on social media
Scheduling planning meetings with our regional teams and coordinating global content with the regions
Coordinating with analytics team to create regular channel performance reports
Keeping calendaring documents and workflow tools up to date with latest information to share with the team
Social channel maintenance, including regularly updating profiles (photos, bios, etc.)
Level of Responsibility:
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
• Decision-making is significant in nature and affects work beyond immediate work group.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
• Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range:
$39.84 - $59.76
