What you'll do

  • Contribute to the end-to-end design, development and implementation of the Sales & overall Revenue Generating compensation bonus plans, leading consultation with business leaders and designing plans across stakeholder groups that drive the required business success outcomes.
  • Significant experience in "Cloud native" space to bring deep SME expertise in terms of Variable Pay strategies in driving long term goals for the Sales teams.
  • Translate SAP Strategic goals into valid and actionable Comp plan design to act as catalyst to achieve SAP’s ambitions.
  • Establish and sustain collaborative partnerships with business leaders to gain deep understanding of their business and associated variable pay plan design needs.
  • Evidence of thought leadership based on external market compensation and business insights on assigned topic area, with an ability to consult with the business on their evolving requirements, to translate to requirement in variable pay plans.
  • Seasoned negotiator to support social partner interactions.
  • Contribute to analysis around overall plan performance, both within the assigned business areas, and across the organization.
  • Participate in enablement of the field and leadership in terms of plan design, changes and link to strategic goals.

  • Strong experience in variable pay program design in the hi-tech software industry or consultants specifically in this industry.
  • Established and deep understanding the link between Total Reward programs, which underpin our overall reward based value proposition.

  • Impactful and influencing communication skills, driving simple communications of a complex topics for all stakeholders.
