is seekingis seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Global Tax Office located in the NYC Headquarters.This position supports multiple Tax Professionals and will perform assigned projects and tasks using established procedures.
This position will be on a Hybrid schedule withdays per week in the
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
team members with the preparation of tax forms and returns; this includes obtaining signatures for approval and distributing forms appropriately
Copy, scan, and bind tax returns
Create and organize certified mailings
Prepare check requests as needed
Sort/distribute incoming mail, publications, and other correspondence
Set up and maintainphysical and electronic files/records that maycontainconfidential information
Request EIN numbers upon request
Update subsidiary and officer listings
Arrange and schedule meetings; reserve conference rooms and cater lunches
Make travel and lodging arrangements
Process expense reports using Concur in accordance withestablished policy guidelines
Organize office supply orders
Collaborate with administrative team on miscellaneous projects
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Honesty, trustworthinessand ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above
Your qualifications and experience should include:
HS diploma or equivalentrequired; college degree preferred
Must have a minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a large corporation
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; this includes Microsoft Teams, Word, Exceland PowerPoint
Highly organized and detail oriented
Previous experience supporting an accounting, tax, or finance group is highly desired
Ability to work in a fast paced, open office environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with all levels of management
Demonstrated team player
All candidates must be authorized towork in the USA
