As a Product Security Manager at Amazon, you will be expected to speak authoritatively on behalf of your team and your technical knowledge should demonstrate both depth and breadth. You will develop deep relationships with development partners, as well as other security teams in Amazon. Efficient time and resource management skills are required along with the ability to deliver results in the face of uncertainty. A Security Manager must foster constructive dialogue and seek resolution when confronted with discordant views.Key job responsibilities- Lead Product Security initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage tight deadlines with precision and drive results, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and ensuring the timely completion of initiatives with high quality and accuracy.- Lead new, reoccurring, or ah-hoc security initiatives with end-to-end ownership. Participate in security escalations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience leading, managing & developing high performance teams in the area of information security
- 7+ years of progressive experience within a product security team or applications security team.
- Experience in at least one programming language, including Java, C++, or Python.
- Professional verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
- Strong information security risk-based prioritization abilities


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst) or GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender) or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or PenTest+
- Experience with AWS AI/Gen AI services (SageMaker, Code Whisperer, Bedrock etc.) and their security properties.
- A strong bias for action with proven ability to handle high stress, time sensitive security tasks
