Drives key buy initiatives and provide Senior Management with status reports
Executes forecast and purchase process (SP forecasting) to determine appropriate quantities to meet the demand for each individual category; Accountable to influence the appropriate production and inventory positions for a Business Unit(s).
Ensures that pre-season landed cost analysis is executed correctly with updated parameters,
Monitors the right products are procured at the right time in right quantity in alignment with Global Supply Planning and Market Logistics to achieve the required On Time Availability (OTA) performance KPI’s
Tracks purchasing KPI’s - ensuring the highest sales order and forecast coverage against Purchase Orders in close collaboration with Inventory Management.
Identify critical supply chain constraints and determine actions to overcome supply problems of critical products (i.e., airfreight, push / pull PODD dates)
Responsible for supporting / complementing Demand Planning teams on delivering the IDL targets of EMC by controlling buying volumes, ex-factory dates and relevant push / pull activities
Responsible for supporting the Traffic Light reporting
ADHOC exception management reporting
