Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.In this role, you will design, build and maintain the lab infrastructure. Your role will involve designing, integrating and providing continuous support for complex Radio Frequency (RF) satellite and ground based hardware in the loop (HIL) testing environments.A key aspect of your position will be serving as a liaison between software teams and hardware teams. In this capacity, you will establish a healthy testing environment while maintaining high standards as software moves through Design Verification (DVT), Acceptance Testing (ATP), Qualification Testing (QTP) and live payload integration.Key job responsibilities
* Technical Expertise in RF testing equipment (VSA, VSG, GNSS simulators, switches), RF up/down converters, time-varying channel emulation and automated testing environments.
* Integration and continuous support of complex RF devices, testing equipment and Linux based software systems.
* Strong RF problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with the added ability to work individually and as a member of a team.
* Experience managing software development, including integrating, troubleshooting and diagnosing RF related software bugs.
* Strong project management, communication skills and technical writing.
* Experience with RF testing equipment automation using SCPI and a various RF equipment Python libraries like PyVisa.A day in the life
The successful applicant will be experienced in keeping technical infrastructure running smoothly and balancing high priority issues. You should be comfortable taking on ambiguous challenges like setting up new pre-production hardware for the first time. You should be able to define SOPs, metrics and alarms to keep equipment and test infrastructure highly available and expand the teams capabilities over time. You will be invaluable to enabling the team to move quickly and confidently with robust verification frameworks that scale with our systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in any of the following: test lab support, operational hardware support
- 2+ years of experience with test automation, debugging, building test tools and testing frameworks
- 2+ years of experience working with Linux based systems
- 2+ years of experience in computer networking (admin level)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- - Highly autonomous, very detail oriented, and willing to learn new skills
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers is required
- - The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential
- - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization
- - Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience in developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results
- - Experience creating and expanding powerful automated testing tools and frameworks
