Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities) - Identify/address sales force capabilities to maximize opportunities for in-line & launching products.
- Design/prepare future sales force working environment including territory alignment, sales target, sales incentive and office management etc.
- Develop local Thought Leader relationships to achieve aligned objectives
- Track KPIs to ensure commercial success for the commercial launch
- Gather and analyze relevant information and data and lead to develop area strategy and account planning
- Ensure full utilization of CRM system efficiently.
- Support marketing team to develop short term and long term product strategy by giving customer insights.
- Responsible for attracting external talents to develop high performance sales team.
- Challenge innovative approaches to customers with digital and out of box ideas.
- Manage wholesaler appropriately to ensure product competitiveness.
- Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics
- Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency) Education - Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced business degree preferred.
Experience - At least 5 years pharmaceutical sales lead experience
- Experience and/or knowledge of oncology/ hematology drugs is a plus
- Product launch experience is a plus
Language Proficiency - Fluency in written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills (Japanese/English).
Others - Strong data and application analytical skills
- Strong digital literacy and openness to adopting new technologies to optimize sales processes.
- Demonstrated strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to work among cross-functional team in a complex environment
- Ability to motivate, retain, and develop Regional Sales Managers and Sales Specialists.
