Key job responsibilities- Design, implement, and support an analytical data infrastructure providing access to large datasets and computing power.- Manage AWS resources including EC2, S3, Glue, RDS, Redshift, etc.
- Optimize data engineering systems for performance, cost, reliability, recoverability, and security.
- Automate data quality monitoring, testing and validation processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the data structure and usage.- Explore and learn the latest AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency.
- Support designing and analyzing statistical tests (e.g., A/B tests) and applying statistical methods to inform data-driven decisions.

- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience mentoring team members on best practices

- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
- Experience operating large data warehouses
- Strong version control practices using Git
- CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
