Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist tocombine/validate categoryrangeplans from BU and finalize into a holistic, full store format assortment plan
  • Sense-check, feedback and confirm the final output of each store formatagainst brand and commercial objectives(product type, launch flow, marketing calendar, mandatory range, retail space, consumer journey, etc.)
  • Output all merchandising boards for all store formats
  • Feedback account product range to BU category management, based on historical sellout data.
  • Conduct assortment reviews, providing feedback and confirming final outputs to ensure consistency with product strategy, launch flow, and marketing calendar.
  • Handover assortment plans to Visual merchandising Team for output of Visual Merchandising(VM) renderings
  • Plan and brief key account SMU input based on accounts needs for responsible categories
  • Assistassortment plan presentations and materials for key business meetings, including Brand Handover, Accounts Pre-lines, and Tenjikai
  • Assist to buildHandover assortment plans to the Account teams for store level planning and depth completion
  • Assistassortment planpresentationsat Seasonal Sales Summit and provide material and support for Sales Training, Accounts Pre-lines, Tenjikai
  • AP room Sample merchandising / Managementtogether with BU Categorymanagementand VM for Sales Training, Accounts Pre-lines, Tenjikai
  • Assist totrack and analyze sell-in (SI) and sell-through (ST) data, using insights to refine assortment strategies.
  • Assist toValidate buy plan (where applicable)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Marketing, merchandising and/or retail experience, with a distinct track record of success
  • Intermidiatepresentation/communications skills
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Solid merchandising experience with retail end in mind
  • Passion for sports/fashion
  • Pro-active, collaborative and positive attitude even in changing environments

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Minimum1-2years relevant working experience
  • Intermediatein English
  • Fluent in Japanese
