DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Senior UI Developer, IT Consultant, IT Analyst, Software Programmer, or in a related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Developing responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and TypeScript; Interactive features and dynamic functionality using jQuery, Backbone.js, AngularJS, Angular, or React.js; Integrating state management solutions such as Redux and middleware like redux-saga for managing application state and complex asynchronous logic; Data fetching and management using React Query and Axios within React.js applications; Designing and developing modular, reusable components using micro frontends architecture with Single SPA; Front-end applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility using Webpack, Gulp, and NXl; Server-side rendering and static site generation using Next.js for improved SEO and performance; Cross-platform mobile applications using Cordova, PhoneGap, or Sencha Touch; Unit tests using Jest and Karma to ensure code quality and maintainability; Conducting end-to-end testing using Cypress to validate application functionality and user interactions; Utilizing GIT for version control and collaborate effectively using project management tools like Jira and Confluence; and AWS services including S3, Lambda, and API Gateway for scalable cloud solutions and deployment.
