Reporting to thethewill be responsible for designing and engineering tooling protocols for molds, jigs and fixtures as required to meet products specifications.
What a typical day looks like:
- Design and engineer moderately complex tooling protocols for molds, jigs, and fixtures as per product specifications.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) evaluation.
- Implement cost effective tool design changes.
- Collaborate with other team members to qualification, sampling, and final part approval.
- Provide status reports as per established schedule
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to tool room equipment.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position (Design or Mold building)
- REQUIRED plastic injection molding and tooling experience
- Interpretations of layouts and drawings
- Capacities analysis
- Proficiency in Excel and MS office programs
- Knowledge medical validations
- Previous experience working in SolidWorks and Siemens/NX

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) $80,400.00 USD - $110,500.00 USD Annual
