The Lead Cybersecurity role requires strong domain knowledge within a specific area in CyberOps Algorithm Development. Works independently and consults with Focus Area leads and other Threat Analytics Analysts to review and document feeds, research and investigate specific threat scenarios and create algorithms, dashboards, and reports to detect and analyze threats against the Enterprise. Serves as a resource for all questions related to the domain of expertise. For this position the employee will be responsible for Network Infrastructure Security. This will include, Routers, switches, Tacacs, Radius, dedicated Servers.Key Responsibilities:
- 15% Review Front Door and Jira documentation submitted to and created by the AlgoDev team.
- 40% Work with the various AlgoDev analysts and code scripts, create reports, dashboards, and tools in support of the various Analyst efforts.
- 35% Document work effort by updating Front Door and Itrack ticketing system. In addition, provide documentation for tool usage, “How To”, etc., to ensure broad usability of tools created. Maintains and grows knowledge in area of expertise.
- 10% Grow knowledge of Cybersecurity. Team processes, and systems.
Required/Desired Qualifications:.
- Data Analysis experience, applied Machine Learning, experience with detection engineering. Excellent Analytical Skills. Python, SQL, Splunk, Kusto (or a similar expressive query language) is required.
- Self-motivated, learns independently and knows where to go to solve problems.
- The ability to learn new technology and concepts quickly.
- Strong Programming skills using programming languages such as Python, R, and Java.
- Knowledge of Database systems, Experience with. Splunk, Apache Spark/Databricks (desired).
- Experience with Detection Engineering and/or Machine Learning.
- Strong Communication and Documentation Skills.
- Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering background with a Cybersecurity familiarity.
- 5-8 years professional Experience
Job Contribution:
Our Lead Cybersecurity earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
