What you'll do
As part of Business Operations for Engineering & Technology in Walldorf, you will work with the team to support various tasks around event management.
In this context, your tasks will include:
- Support from planning, execution to follow-up activities for the whole E2E event management process
- Project management activities, working closely with the event leads (e.g. reporting, status updates, maintaining lists, tracking milestones, managing budget)
- Support the team in advertising our very own EventApp and managing requests for other teams (incl. offering trainings and creating tutorials)
- Create graphical assets with Adobe for various digital & physical event assets (e.g. onsite signage like banner and poster, key visual, ..)
- Create and update communication assets (e.g. invitations, Sharepoint sites, event websites, our own managed Event App)
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred field(s) of study: Media Science, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field
- First experiences in event or project management
- Very good communication skills (e.g. writing/ editing texts, creating websites)
- Creative mindset and drive to bring in and execute new ideas
- Eager to learn new things on the job
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments
- Very good MS Office skills
- Good Adobe Creative Cloud skills or willingness to upskill yourself via eLearnings
- Fluent English and German language skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to support 10 – 20 hours per week (option to increase hours during the semester break)
