Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughsReporting to Honeywell Phoenix Engines Quality/HOS function in the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System and also assume ODA Unit Member Inspector role. This role may require flexible work hours.
- Maintain and improve the QMS (Quality Management System) for compliance to regulatory approvals (AS9100, FAA).
- Interface with Honeywell procedures in support of the development of local procedures and processes
- Ensuring sustained Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) implementation.
- Demonstrate an active commitment to the continuous improvement in the Honeywell Operating System
- Perform product and supplier quality function as required
- Be able to work in cross-functional teams to reach consensus.

- Visually and/or dimensional inspect aerospace product to ensure conformity to Type Design and is in condition for safe operation.
- Issue FAA Authorized Release Certificates (FAA Form 8130-3) for Domestic or Export
- Comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Honeywell ODA Manual requirements.
- Identify problem areas and take remedial action where required.
- Work effectively with the FAA, other ODA Unit Members and ODA organizations, Engineering staff and other departments, as required.
- The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete the Manufacturing Designee Seminar administered by the FAA and to become an authorized Unit Member of the Honeywell FAA ODA organization.

YOU MUST HAVE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
- Familiarity with Aerospace products is required
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Inspection
WE VALUE:
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- A thorough knowledge of Quality Management System applicable to the manufacture and maintenance of aerospace products (e.g. AS9100).
- Working knowledge of quality tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical data including Type Design data such as Blue Prints, Drawings, specifications and airworthiness related regulations.
- Basic understanding in the use of measuring equipment.
- Able to read and understand English (Both verbal and written).
- Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and/or requirements
- Prior or current Airworthiness Designee certification (ODA) is preferred but not essential
- Strong IT skills, knowledge of SAP
- Green Belt or willing to achieve
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand and bend for long periods of time
