Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in sales covering the German security and defense industry.
10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
Ability to communicate in German and English fluently in order to manage client relationships in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience growing an existing customer base and acquiring new clients at scale to increase business growth.
Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
Experience selling cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or application software across the security and defense industry.
Experience in German Public Procurement law and processes (Vergaberecht), with a focus on the requirements of the security and defense industry, including understanding of NATO security standards and regulations.
