- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in sales covering the German security and defense industry.
- 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
- Ability to communicate in German and English fluently in order to manage client relationships in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience growing an existing customer base and acquiring new clients at scale to increase business growth.
- Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
- Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
- Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
- Experience selling cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or application software across the security and defense industry.
- Experience in German Public Procurement law and processes (Vergaberecht), with a focus on the requirements of the security and defense industry, including understanding of NATO security standards and regulations.
