About the Role

- - - - What the Candidate Will Do ----

  • Leverage prospecting skills and relationships to build partnerships with the Portuguese's top-tier restaurants across strategically selected markets.
  • Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our restaurant partners, including sustainable economics for both parties.
  • You will manage the whole sales cycle, including cold calls, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and the first month on the platform.
  • Clearly communicate the value of Uber and its newest products to prospects.
  • Coordinate restaurant activation by working with our onboarding team to ensure a smooth restaurant experience.
  • Keep in touch with your recently signed restaurants to ensure a great start on the platform.
  • Be responsible for the full restaurant partner performance in the first 28-day merchant lifetime
  • Help coach, develop and train sales reps in order to maximise productivity across the group.

- - - - Basic Qualifications ----

  1. At least 1 year of professional experience with proven experience in sales.
  2. You are results-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated. You hustle until you get the job done!
  3. You have excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs.
  4. You are a team player who brings a positive spirit and energy, contributing to a great culture within a fast-paced environment.
  5. Experience in the food delivery or hospitality industry is a plus.
  6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  7. You are comfortable at managing your own time and have clear prioritisation skills
  8. Working knowledge of how to use Google applications (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets) and familiarity with Salesforce and/or other CRM systems
  9. Degree level education.
  10. Driving license.
  11. Fluent speaking, reading, and writing skills in Portuguese and English.
