What will my responsibilities be?
- Promote the product portfolio, including conducting customer-specific training sessions and hosting webinars for portfolio promotion.
- Analyze technical specifications and prepare technical proposals.
- Qualification of products, primarily for major Spanish companies.
- Act as the technical lead for product qualification, coordinating with the end customer and Siemens headquarters.
- Draft application notes and user guides.
- Provide technical support internally and externally.
- Manage the product lifecycle, ensuring its proper development.
What do I need to qualify for this role?
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a solid foundation in power systems, protection, and control systems.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the protection and control field, specifically in roles involving applications engineering.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English is a must, as the role involves communication with international teams and clients. Knowledge of German is considered an additional asset.
- Deep and comprehensive knowledge of protection relay theory, including protection schemes, fault analysis, and relay settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to clearly convey technical information.
- The ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong networks both within the organization and externally.
