The Local Regulatory Reporting Senior Data Specialist will analyze data demands, and the use of the data of legacy processes as well as available data sources, check the availability of data and enhance current solutions in order to meet new requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand data requirements and challenges from reporting teams.
Analyze data needs and identify data sources & assist in the transition from legacy to standard data.
Work with Chief Data Office to register reporting attributes as Critical Data Elements
Investigate and escalate data quality issues using Citi's IMR process.
Create and analyze data workflows to provide high quality data to regulatory reporting users.
Facilitate constructive dialogue between multiple departments at global, regional and country level at various levels of seniority to provide effective solutions to meet strategic data goals.
Liaise with Technology teams to ensure requirements mean the same for everyone on data processes and structures.
Ideal Background:
University / College degree.
5+ years of work experience in financial/management/risk reporting or system implementation roles.
Familiarity with advanced data integration/transformation workflow tools (e.g. KNIME, Alteryx, Talend, Dataiku, Python etc) is an advantage.
Experience with project end-to-end management is preferred (from Business Analysis point of view
Technology aptitude: you will have to co-operate with Technology staff, we need you to speak their language.
Interpersonal skills, ability to manage stakeholder relationships across various levels of seniority using the English language.
Quick learner, customer focused with ability to multi-task and work in fast paced changing environment.
