What would you do as a Finance Business Analyst?

  • Analyze existing regulatory reporting processes and solutions

  • Understand requirements and challenges from reporting teams

  • Review regulatory requirements for Prudential reporting

  • Prepare and check (based on 4 eyes principles) regulatory reports

  • Perform data quality remediation activities

  • Execute user testing cycles

  • Prepare documentation of new processes and user guides for new systems and maintains these documents

  • Liaise with multiple departments at global, regional and country level at various levels of seniority to resolve issues

  • Provide support to CSC and country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)

What do we expect from a Finance Business Analyst?

  • 5+ years of experience in financial or risk regulatory reporting or system implementation roles

  • University/College degree in Finance/Accounting

  • Excellent verbal and written English

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal with a range of senior/junior staff across a number of disciplines

  • Familiarity with COREP, Basel capital guidelines and capital markets is an advantage

  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle is an advantage

  • Ability to pay attention to details and work to defined deadlines

  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge, familiarity with advanced data tools (e.g. Python, KNIME, etc.) is an advantage. Training will be provided on other in house and industry standard systems used within this position.
