Lemonade Senior Compliance Analyst

You’ll help monitor current compliance processes and help establish and create new processes that will help mitigate risks within the business. You’ll support Compliance Leaders in promoting a culture of compliance by providing guidance across all of our P&C lines of business: Car, Home, Renters, and Pet. You’ll collaborate with the Legal and Compliance teams, business leaders, and Product engineers to recommend and facilitate improvements to processes and procedures.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline processes and ensure adherence to regulations

• Oversee the use of licensing management tools, ensuring they are effective and up-to-date and guarantee Lemonade employees are fully licensed and in compliance

• Provide compliance guidance, coaching, and feedback to key leadership on compliance issues that arise through Market Conduct Exams, Audits, inquiries, or complaints

• Build strong relationships with colleagues on the Legal, Compliance, and Training teams, as well as with colleagues across the company

• Own continuous improvement, efficiency, and scale

• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards while paying close attention to detail

• Help with company-wide compliance projects as needed

• 4+ years of P&C personal lines insurance compliance, risk management, or audit experience, required

• Bachelor’s Degree in either Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field, a plus

• Demonstrated persuasive writing skills, an ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely, and the know-how to translate technical and insurance requirements for appropriate audiences

• Superior organizational capabilities, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with risk management principles in any line of business

• Masterful at all things G-Suite and Slack

• Ability to work independently within a remote environment
