We are looking for a talented and passionate UX designer to join our team who has a deep understanding of UX principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IBM.com by defining design strategies and leading the creation of cohesive, end-to-end, human-centered experiences. To be successful in this role, you should have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of current UX trends.
You will be responsible for project engagements including deliverables (such as concepts, wireframes, interactive prototypes, specifications, etc.), engagement agreements and timelines.
Craft user experiences alongside key product stakeholders to understand and support product business goals, advocating user centered design industry best practices, and effectively managing design resources.
Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts, interactions, and user flows.
Develop visually appealing and brand-consistent designs, including layouts, typography, and graphics.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
Work closely with design team to implement IBM Carbon Design System in all solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You must bring a strong technical background, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to think strategically and holistically. If you have a passion for technology, user experience, and driving innovative solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Proven experience as a UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, primarily Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and human-centered design.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
Experience working with design systems and the learning agility to quickly gain mastery over the IBM Design system, Carbon design system as well as IBM Branding guidelines and UI best practices.
Demonstrated knowledge and use of design pattern trends and best practices.
Innovative and collaborative mindset, adaptable to fast-paced, ever-evolving creative environment.
Language:
– Proficiency in Portuguese.
– Advanced / Fluent English.
