• Conduct analysis on executive pay structures, incentive plans, and equity programs to help attract, motivate and retain top talent
• Partner with HR Business Partners on executive pay questions and requests (e.g., pay benchmarking, equity holding and vesting analysis, retention packages, internal promotions)
• Partner with executive recruiters to develop offers for new hire executives that are fair, competitive and aligned with internal guidelines
• Support the annual executive compensation review process, including market benchmarking, salary structure updates, equity grant guidelines updates, and year-end compensation planning
• Administer employee equity retention program in partnership with HR business partners
• Support and help evolve the company's executive compensation strategy, in alignment with organizational goals, market trends, and shareholder interests
• Support the development of Talent & Compensation Committee materials and NetApp’s annual proxy filing, including designing charts and tables, gathering data, summarizing findings, and formulating recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure the successful rollout and communication of executive compensation initiatives and high-impact deliverables
• Partner closely with external compensation consultant on deliverables throughout the year, ensuring key expectations and deadlines are met
Bachelor's degree required (preferred majors: Economics/Business, Statistics, Math, Finance)
3-4 years of executive compensation experience at a compensation consulting firm or medium-large global public company
KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
o Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights
o Strong Excel modeling capability, including working with array formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.
o Strong desire to learn, solve problems, improve and document processes
o Basic knowledge of executive compensation practices, regulations, and trends
