As a Senior Compensation Analyst at BMC, you will focus on both traditional compensation duties and the expanding global Pay Explainability landscape. You will support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and programs. In addition, you will help design and develop project plans to ensure compliance with global pay equity legislation and expand our internal pay explainability practices.

- Conduct all phases of a compensation cycle using Oracle HCM; including system set up, program administration, reporting, and communications.
- Research and evaluate job positions based on job requirements to ensure market competitiveness, set roles up in required systems, and create job ladders for management and HRBP use.
- Participate in salary and spot surveys to ensure we understand market best practices.
- Audit employee and job data to ensure accuracy; work with HRIS to understand root cause and remediate as necessary.
- Analyze compensation data and summarize in an easy to understand, audience-friendly, manner through Excel and PowerPoint.
- Work with team to understand BMC’s current Pay Explainability status and goals; conduct pay gap and representation analyses, develop remediation plans with HRBPs.
- Help manage compliance with upcoming legislative Equal Pay requirements for our locations, including project management, training materials, and supporting all phases of rollout.
- Help drive adoption of Pay Explainability throughout the organization (HR, management, and employee audiences) by leveraging internal tools and creating educational materials.
- Research industry trends, legislative requirements and Pay Explainability best practices.
- Create effective PowerPoint presentations to convey key compensation messages (Pay Explainability trends, compensation cycle information, etc.) to key stakeholders clearly and succinctly.
- Create, support, and drive project timelines, updates, and outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams as needed for accruals and forecasts.

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and 5+ years relevant experience in compensation or related discipline.
- You have proven project management skills with the ability to understand project requirements, necessary program steps, and allocation of resources to bring projects to a successful conclusion.
- Your background includes data management skills with the ability to analyze and model complex data sets to distill information in a usable manner.
- You have a solid understanding of the financial implications of compensation decisions and the ability to partner with finance and accounting to forecast and accrue program expenses.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel (pivots, lookups, charts, etc.) PowerPoint, Co-Pilot and Word
- You have successful experience crafting executive ready PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience using Oracle HCM, PayScale MarketPay, and Syndio systems is a plus.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
