Trade Finance and Accounting Planning, Analysis and Process Optimization:
- Take lead in driving continuous improvement on processes, systems, and internal control standards of trade finance activities to achieve financial control effectiveness and operation efficiency.
- Implement and drive planning and analytics for trade finance and working capital to provide cost transparency to stakeholders.
- Streamline and optimize end-to-end trade finance and accounting flow involving vendors, business teams, Global Share Service Centre, and other stakeholders in the value chain.
- Support reviewing policies and procedures related to trade finance topics.
- Ownership of the Supplier Financial Review process and methodology.
- Establish and maintain strong cross-functional working relationships among finance, vendors, and sourcing teams, and provide business insights for control and performance improvement.
- Analyze and drive performance, detect risk, identify improvement potential, and drive corresponding solutions and actions together with the business team.
- Lead or participate in team-level or cross-functional projects in trade finance areas or sourcing finance related topics.
- Support trade finance team or other teams' ad-hoc assignments.
- Senior leadership and LO teams in Sourcing
- Sourcing Finance and other head office finance teams
- Group Accounting, Group Treasury, and Global Share Service Centers
- Other Group Functions (IT, Customs, Supply Chain, Sustainability, etc.)
- Suppliers (T1 and T2)
- Vendor Master Set Up Team
- Strong business acumen and business partnering skills
- Result-oriented and proactive with a high degree of customer orientation
- Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Mastery of BI tools and data tools is preferred (Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Python)
- People management experience is an advantage
- Able to work and deliver results in a changing and dynamic/pressurized environment
- Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analysis, or equivalent background in related fields
- 5+ years of work experience in a related field
- Knowledge of fast-moving consumer goods, fashion industry, and/or retail is an advantage
