Trade Finance and Accounting Planning, Analysis and Process Optimization:
  • Take lead in driving continuous improvement on processes, systems, and internal control standards of trade finance activities to achieve financial control effectiveness and operation efficiency.
  • Implement and drive planning and analytics for trade finance and working capital to provide cost transparency to stakeholders.
  • Streamline and optimize end-to-end trade finance and accounting flow involving vendors, business teams, Global Share Service Centre, and other stakeholders in the value chain.
  • Support reviewing policies and procedures related to trade finance topics.
Supplier Financial Analysis and Market Intelligence:
  • Ownership of the Supplier Financial Review process and methodology.
  • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional working relationships among finance, vendors, and sourcing teams, and provide business insights for control and performance improvement.
  • Analyze and drive performance, detect risk, identify improvement potential, and drive corresponding solutions and actions together with the business team.
Project and Ad-hoc Tasks:
  • Lead or participate in team-level or cross-functional projects in trade finance areas or sourcing finance related topics.
  • Support trade finance team or other teams' ad-hoc assignments.
Key Relationships:
  • Senior leadership and LO teams in Sourcing
  • Sourcing Finance and other head office finance teams
  • Group Accounting, Group Treasury, and Global Share Service Centers
  • Other Group Functions (IT, Customs, Supply Chain, Sustainability, etc.)
  • Suppliers (T1 and T2)
  • Vendor Master Set Up Team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong business acumen and business partnering skills
  • Result-oriented and proactive with a high degree of customer orientation
  • Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Mastery of BI tools and data tools is preferred (Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Python)
  • People management experience is an advantage
  • Able to work and deliver results in a changing and dynamic/pressurized environment
  • Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analysis, or equivalent background in related fields
  • 5+ years of work experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of fast-moving consumer goods, fashion industry, and/or retail is an advantage
