About the Role

In order to deliver on the above, you will work closely with the Local Operations team, the Field Growth Manager as well as the Regional Operations Lead overseeing the expansion program. The Regional Operations Lead will be heavily invested in the success of this project and will be involved in the day-to-day operations.

As a Business Development Team Lead, you will be focusing on the following core responsibilities:

  1. People management: Manage and cultivate highly successful and engaged Field Sales Reps who drive results. Monitor, evaluate, and develop the performance of individuals on your team.
  2. Performance management: Drive your Reps towards short and long-term market goals, ensuring the right people and best in class sales processes are in place to get there.
  3. Local / regional collaboration: Facilitate focused and productive communication and collaboration among your Reps and between your Reps/cross-functional partners.
  4. Manage a successful team responsible for exceeding objective KPIs by:
  • Observing the team behavior and identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide feedback to ensure guidance and performance improvement
  • Validate that your Reps have working pipeline to meet business targets

5 . Be a thought partner to the Regional Operations Lead with regards to key challenges in the market, as well as finding solutions to overcome those challenges.

Basic Qualifications

  1. 2 year previous experience in team management position.
  2. Proven track record to lead effectively, set team goals, develop people to their highest levels of performance, and guide through challenging situations
  3. Motivational skills - your team counts on you to encourage them to reach their full potential
  4. Leading by example - maintain a positive & can-do attitude
  5. Comfortable delivering feedback - you'll need to tune into your team’s performance, give reinforcing feedback where vital, and offer critical feedback for growth opportunities as they arise.
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Sales, Account Management or Customer Support experience
  2. SQL and Google sheets knowledge
  3. Previous experience in tech or ridesharing industry
