Job Summary:
As a Managed Services Junior Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-level support for our AWS/ETL managed services. You will work closely with senior engineers to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the optimal functioning of our AWS cloud and ETL services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for AWS/ETL services, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor AWS cloud environments and ETL processes, identifying and reporting any performance or security issues.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ETL workflows and data integration tasks.
- Collaborate with the support team to escalate complex issues to senior engineers and follow through on resolutions.
- Document all technical inquiries, issues, and solutions in the support knowledge base.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our support processes.
- Develop a solid understanding of AWS services and ETL tools to enhance support capabilities.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of system documentation and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with exposure to AWS and ETL platforms.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and AWS Glue.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- AWS certification or relevant coursework is a plus.
