Job Title:Managed Services Senior Support Engineer - AWS/ETL Project
The Managed Services Senior Support Engineer will play a critical role in providing advanced technical support for our AWS/ETL managed services. The successful candidate will be adept at troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing ETL processes, and ensuring the reliability and performance of AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for AWS cloud services and ETL processes, resolving complex issues efficiently.
- Monitor and manage the health and performance of AWS environments and ETL workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement enhancements and fixes to improve system stability and performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Conduct root cause analysis for service interruption recovery and create preventive measures.
- Mentor junior support engineers and act as an escalation point for technical issues.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical expertise and guidance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Stay current with AWS services updates and ETL technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical support roles, with at least 3 years focused on AWS and ETL platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and AWS Glue.
- Strong experience with ETL tools, data integration, and data warehousing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Developer) are preferred.
