WHO YOU ARE:

You must be someone who is a self-starter with a can-do attitude. A designer who loves design exploration but also recognizes the realities of day to day work. You are able to manage your own projects in a timely manner, work with internal and external partners, and are able to present your work to stakeholders and explain your design thinking. You will create your work with a high attention to detail and craft.

This role reports into the Brand Design function and will be based in the San Mateo, CA office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Work within the Brand Design team which is responsible for the creative and art direction of the company, driving a unified brand identity across diverse marketing assets
  • In this role, you will be driving high priority go-to-market campaigns tied to product launch cycles working across creative disciplines (corporate design, motion graphics, video, web and event experiences)
  • Work with creative partners to develop concepts and designs that can be executed across all channels, ensuring deliverables are on time and on brief
  • Engage collaboratively across marketing with copywriters, demand gen, field, events, content, customer, and product marketing to brainstorm ideas that engage Snowflake customers and prospects to drive purchase intent
  • Deliver on a wide-range of projects including demand generation and product marketing assets, landing pages, infographics, guides/eBooks, social media campaigns, event spaces, sales tools, advertising and other go-to-market assets that drive visibility for and interest in Snowflake
  • Develop and oversee digital and print design projects from conception to delivery, ensuring assets support responsive design principles, e-commerce best practices, and follow corporate standards related to visual style and branding guidelines
  • Accomplish all identified project goals for visual design, brand strategy and user experience
  • Stay current on industry trends and inform creative partners on digital processes, technologies, trends, and potential opportunities to accomplish seamless customer experience
WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:
  • 10+ years creative expertise in design at an agency, design studio or internal marketing team
  • Experience working in a distributed model, with ability to manage time zones for key connection points with Corporate Brand team in San Mateo, CA
  • Must be a conceptual design thinker, able to develop concepts and original graphics and be comfortable taking your designs to production-ready files
  • Deep understanding of design theory with excellent skills in visual storytelling through color, image, typography, composition
  • Track record of impact in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality design output
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; capable of working seamlessly within a team and with various stakeholders to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented approach to design, ensuring pixel-perfect visuals when developing simple and elegant design solutions to solve complex design problems
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • You are fearless, boundlessly creative and relentlessly attentive to detail
  • Must have an online portfolio and clearly able to discuss your role on each project
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
  • Proven experience with over 10 years working in creative design field
  • Expert knowledge of industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma
  • Experience with Wrike, Canva, and Workfront is a plus
  • Bachelor degree in Art, Graphic Design, Marketing Communications, or similar discipline
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training

This is a hybrid role, with a dedicated three days in the San Mateo and/or Dublin CA offices.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $158,000 - $225,700.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
