You will:
Develop a partnership with both the business leads and the local diverse teams by providing HR guidance and solutions. Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and ensure HR in day-to-day business.
Drive the employee lifecycle processes such as recruitment, onboarding of newstarters/transfers/expats,Performance Management and L&D initiatives.
Ensure smooth execution and follow up of HR Administration such as contractual changes, vendor management, benefits administration, work permits and other expat administration.
Coordinate Workers Council and Health & Safety committee meetings: taking minutes, prepare the agenda, communication with unions, follow up on agreed actions.
Support projects to ensure Wellbeing and Health & Safety at the workplace
Liaison with local external legal partners such as government authorities and industry associations.
Master regular HR communications through monthly HR newsletters, local networks and townhalls
Organise and drive local DE&I initiatives and events
Support Country HR head with legal issues/ compliance/grievance or other employee topics
You will bring:
A first HR experience, ideally with knowledge of HR Systems (such as Workday)
Experience and knowledge of the Belgian legal HR framework
Strong communication skills
Hands-on approach and flexible mindset to adapt into fast moving business circumstances.
Experience within an international matrix organization is a plus
Excellent verbal and written skills of English and Dutch
Excellent knowledge and skills of MS-Office
