Your Key Responsibilities

As a member of the People Consulting team you’ll be part of a team with a wide variety of experiences. In your role as a Senior Manager you will be expected to build trusted relationships with colleagues and clients.

Yourspecific roleas a Senior Manager is to:

  • Play an active role in sales & growing our business. This means that you will identify potential business opportunities for EY (from external and internal sources) and help to close deals with potential clients. This entails understanding the potential client’s needs & writing winning proposals. You will work in strong collaboration with EY partners/directors in this role, but a strong sense of commercial proactivity shall be expected from you.
  • Support in client management. This entails building trusted client relationships, developing proposals in line with the clients’ needs and making sure that we remain their trusted business partner. Part of the client role also means that you will provide innovative commercial insights for clients and contribute to thought leadership.
  • Deliver on various projects ranging from strategic projects to operational projects with a focus on the design and delivery. On these projects you'll consistently drive projects to completion and determine that work is of a high quality. Your role in leading teams or parts of teams on engagements will depend on the size of engagement. But usually as a senior manager you will lead large scale projects.
  • As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

Your Profile

You have:

  • You have a Master degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Management, Pedagogical Sciences, or relevant work experience.
  • You have min. 8 years of demonstrated work experience including the following:
    • Business development and client pursuit activities. This means that you have been involved in identifying opportunities, writing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients; building trusted client relationships, developing and maintaining contact with key decision makers at clients; and having strong networking skills;
    • Learning and development projects including: defining learning operating models & strategy, conducting learning gap analyses and translate them into objectives, instructional (digital) design, training facilitation and delivery, user experience and design of learning pathways (including virtual, classroom and blended learning approach);
    • Creating and executing Change Management programs that align the people and strategy with the business objectives, including activities such as impact analysis, communication and training strategy & delivery, workshop facilitation, organizational design and assessments;
    • Developing and maintaining relations with key stakeholders (C-level executives), by understanding their people related challenges, objectives and advising on best practices.
    • Practical project management experience including planning, reporting, budget management, risk management and complex project monitoring;
    • Leadership experience in steering, activating, coaching and mentoring a team.
    • Track record in human capital, talent and performance management related to our services.
  • You have full working proficiency in English and Dutch(French is preferred but not required).


Ideally, you also have

  • Knowledge and expertise in Leadership development and Skills Based Organizations (SBO).
  • Knowledge or at least a strong curiosity in innovative solutions such as AI, Machine learning, VR etc.
  • Relevant consultancy experience, working in a Big 4, a global management consultancy firm, niche organizational strategy houses or boutique consultancy firm.
