As a Human Resources Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Act as key focal point for employees and managers at the Tilton, NH site on all HR matters - an employee advocate, providing expert strategic and operational HR advice, guidance and coaching
- Advise and coach managers/leaders with client groups and work with them to deal effectively with employee relations issues
- Support corporate and local HR goals through strategic planning and execution
- Understand, demonstrate and enforce Federal, State, corporate and local policies and procedures, related to employee relations, safety, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.
- Support New Employee Recruitment and Onboarding.
- Administer and facilitate Leader and Employee development programs.
- Ensures site support of employee led groups and programs.
- Coordinate and ensure 3M Corporate initiatives such as Employee Assistance & Diversity & Inclusion are implemented & supported
- Support and implement human resources processes such as salary review, performance management process, etc.
- Establishes credibility and visibility with employees through regular interaction.
Your Skills andExpertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree in a human resources field or MBA from an accredited institution
- SPHR or PHR certification and/or other progressive continuing education in an HR field is valued
- Experience in manufacturing HR practices
- Experience in working in a union manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of 3M’s global strategy, business areas, structure, and organization, as well as of the external market
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering strong results, possess strong business acumen and be able to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
