Job Description
Reporting to the BeLux Pneumococcal and Pediatric Vaccines Lead, the BCM is responsible for achieving financial, strategic and execution objectives, in close collaboration with the cross functional team. The primary activities include but are not limited to:
Market understanding: Analysis of local market and identification of commercial opportunities based on market research and customer insights (HCPs and general public)
Strategy development: Participation at regional brand meetings, understanding and translating the global product strategy into local priorities and the integrated business plan
Project & event management: Implementation and tracking of (digital) campaigns, initiatives and materials directed at different internal and external stakeholders, such as HCPs, sales teams or general public
Customer focus and gaining customer insights: individual visit with relevant stakeholders aimed at co-developing materials or implementing specific programs, participation at national, regional or local congresses or own events
Financial acumen: Forecasting & tracking of product sales and expenses in alignment with the BU and finance department based on local external and global internal assumptions
Cost management: allocating resources and managing budgets. Tracking progress and adjusting activities accordingly
Cross functional collaboration: ensure alignment with the Integrated Brand and Customer Plan between various stakeholders/departments such as Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Finance, Demand Planning etc. Participating in or leading cross functional workstreams of different nature
Contributes with a high level of cooperation between teams and/or departments, ensuring adequate sales input into the planning process
Foster new ways of working: Agile, scrum, OKR, etc.
Your profile
University degree in Life Sciences or another relevant discipline with healthcare curriculum
Experience in marketing and sales is a plus
Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Experience in Vaccines Business in Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Account Management or Policy is a plus
Digital savviness
High level of analytical skills
Strong communication skills in English and at least 1 or 2 native languages (French and/or Dutch)
Excellent presentation skills in English
Excellent power point and excel skills, other project management and digital effectiveness tools
Cross functional collaboration & leadership (Medical Affairs, CX, Market Access, KAM…)
Outstanding negotiation skills
Excellent Budget management competency
Excellent business acumen and growth mindset
