What You’ll Do
- Review and approve credit limit requests for all new Uber customers across all business lines.
- Manage Ad hoc requests such as credit limit increase, changes on payment method, review and approve payment terms extensions and payment plans.
- Analyze customer financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and calculate key financial ratios.
- Monitor customers creditworthiness, default trends and recommend risk mitigation strategies (credit insurance).
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Sales, Operations and Technology.
- Follow Bankruptcies with the Legal department.
- Monitor BPO activities.
- Works with Credit Agencies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields. Credit Risk Certification is a plus.
- 4+ years’ Credit Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Credit Management experience, ideally gained in B2B Operations of international corporations.
- Strong knowledge of Credit Risk strategies, Credit Capacity Design for Monthly bill customers, Credit and Debit Card portfolio, Payment Plans, Payment Terms extensions, Late Payment Fees calculations and Securities.
- Financial Analysis & Credit Risk Assessment: Strong understanding of balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, and financial ratios.
- Risk Modeling & Credit Scoring. e.g.; Experience with credit Rating models (D&B, CRM)
- Ability to ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
- Proficiency in Google Sheet ( Financial modeling, pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, etc..).
- Strong attention to detail, communication and problem solving skills.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$99,000 per year - USD$110,000 per year.
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$99,000 per year - USD$110,000 per year.
