The role is responsible for the end-to-end experience the products provide, which at a high level includes:
- Identifying business and functional requirements and finding products that may meet those requirements
- Evaluating and testing those products, and selecting the most appropriate solution
- Monitoring and driving adoption of the product
- Driving marketing and sales of the product with EY’s internal customers
- Managing vendors and internal teams that support the product, to ensure optimal service
- Planning and road mapping the future of the visual experience
- Ensuring security compliance for the product
- Driving product innovation in the visual space, and industrialization of new innovations
- Assisting in and planning the portfolio’s financials and TCO
The Product Manager will:
- Support the AV & Interactive Technology team in all financial aspects of the products including annual budgeting, invoice checking and signoff
- Create metrics for the total cost of ownership (TCO) for the product to show business value
- Partner with other Product Managers to align roadmaps and optimize the overall user experience in alignment with the Workplace Experience team
- Proactively research and evaluate the feasibility of new technologies that may improve the meeting room experience
- Manage proofs of concept and pilots to prove the value of new capabilities
- Report and understand product utilization and continuously drive for improved adoption
- Prepare business change materials and industrialize the product
- Support the AV & Interactive Technology team in planning, budgeting, initiating and sponsoring the investment portfolio to deliver new product features
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- History of working credibly with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to effectively engage and direct engineering teams
- Base level knowledge of Microsoft 365, and common AV devices from Samsung, LG, Poly, Logitech, Jabra, Crestron and other major manufacturers
- Adapts personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or when escalating issues
- Strong verbal and written English including the ability to draft effective communications
- Ability to work with people and vendors in a variety of cultures, countries and time zones
- Able to utilize Emotional Intelligence to navigate the interactions and complexities of the business environment and drive leadership performance in oneself and in others
- Proven experience in INTERNAL product management
- Passionate, committedand determined
Other Requirements:
The role requires periodic early or late meetings to support global stakeholders and to manage escalated issues. Some minimal travel may be required to support planned activities.
Job Requirements:
Approximately 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
Certification Requirements:
CTS and PMP strongly desired
