Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and execution of multiple projects
  • Create Project Charter, Project Plan, Executive MIS dashboards as required for a project /program
  • Day-to-day leadership, management & support of Change and Implementations area, ensuring structure is setup in relevance with business goals, all required deliverables are fulfilled and whole employee lifecycle is managed appropriately from recruitment, on-boarding, training, development and retention perspective.
  • Active management through goals, key performance and quality indicators with view of improving overall quality and timeliness of projects delivery
  • Capacity management and dynamic prioritization
  • Active cooperation with Product, Technology, Oversight and Clients with view of making products and services scalable and efficient
  • Capacity management and dynamic prioritization
  • Building effective relationships with production/BAU Middle Office and Funds teams globally, enabling high quality and timely delivery of projects and ensuring BAU satisfaction from delivered initiatives
  • Very close cooperation with other Change teams to work out standardized offering, procedures and operating model
  • Continual review of Testing, Change and Implementations processes to identify and execute tactical and strategic service and efficiency improvements
  • Continual review of BAU operational processes to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies
  • Structured MIS provision to all stakeholders with regard to client changes status
  • Pro-active risk management and cooperation with necessary stakeholders in order to minimize operational & project risk and adherence to all Citi policies.
  • Ensuring teams compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Citi policies; including adherence with Citi programme and project management procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate should have an extensive knowledge, experience and exposure in Middle Office (preferably) or Funds industry products (e.g. Custody, Fund Admin) and applicants should be numerate, computer literate with the ability to understand new systems quickly.
    Preferred at least 10 years’ experience in financial industry.
  • At least 6 years of experience in leading multiple high priority projects, preferably in client on-boarding or client change delivery space. Preferred: experience in running Change or Transformation projects for Middle Office or Fund Accounting.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in leading teams or managers (or significant size project teams) through dynamic growth and capacity prioritization
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Independent, self-motivated and hard working
  • Ability to handle work pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written) – ready to lead meetings with partners and external Clients
  • A good level of decision-making is required and the jobholder should ensure that options are taken into account before decisions are made
  • Ability to build long-term relationships
  • Time flexible (holiday schedule is Client based)
  • Good working knowledge of: project methodologies and tools, MS Project, MS Excel and PowerPoint
