Job Description

The program will be limited to EU/EFTA citizens.

The RWE Methodology Intern will be primarily responsible for supporting, from a methodological and scientific perspective, the design, analysis, and study reporting of non-interventional studies as well as the automation of such activities. The intern will work under the guidance of the Associate Director, RWE Methodology Scientist and report to the Director, Head of the LDG CoE.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of high-quality, consistent, and methodically sound scientific deliverables for Local Data Generation (LDG) studies globally, in collaboration with your team, the study lead, and cross-functional colleagues:
    • Contributing to the development of study concepts, protocols, and statistical analysis plans for a diverse range of non-interventional research studies.
    • Supporting the identification of appropriate methodologies and strategies in partnership with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Supporting the development of automation tools related to the statistical analyses of non-interventional research studies.
  • Contributing to the collection of LDG portfolio performance metrics to identify areas of process improvement.
  • Maintaining awareness of new scientific and methodological developments in Real World Evidence generation.
Your Competencies
  • Student or graduate of Master’s/PhD degree in statistics, (pharmaco)epidemiology, public health, health economics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of epidemiological and statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software.
  • Experience conducting literature reviews, research protocols, grant proposals, or manuscripts preferred.
  • Experience managing different forms of real-world data preferred.
  • Experience with creating automation tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Well-organised, structured, and independent way of working.
  • Commitment, motivation, and creativity.
