Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establish overall business or technical strategy, aligning legal initiatives with corporate goals and objectives.

  • Skilled at identifying issues, providing risk-based recommendations, and contributing to strategic business conversations in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience navigating complex legal issues around consumer protection, payments, digital wallets and agentic commerce
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to checkout and fintech, including federal and state UDAAP standards, state money transmission laws, FTC and CFPB guidelines, TCPA, Reg. E, GLBA, BSA, and CAN-SPAM
  • Experience building cross-functional relationships and communication styles that resonate with business teams to launch products responsibly
  • Demonstrated strong sense of ownership and ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
