Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing weekly News You Can Share, the internal PR update circulated internally to the marketing and sales organizations.
  • Assist with developing monthly “In the News”, the internal PR update circulated internally to the marketing and sales organizations.
  • Assist with award entry development and press release writing when needed.
  • Assist with editing bylines and editorial pieces created by external PR agency as appropriate.
  • Track media coverage in Muck Rack and flag pertinent company and competitive coverage.
  • Draft social media posts promoting PR content.
  • Support PR Director for large projects and events, such as Verint’s annual Engage 2025 conference.
  • Help prepare for, attend, and actively participate in/contribute to team meetings.
  • Research and develop competitive media coverage analysis to identify key messaging and product focus among top vendors in the customer engagement space.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active enrollment in relevant course of degree study at an accredited college, e.g., BSc/BA in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, psychology, or sociology. Open to other fields of study if other criteria are met.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven understanding of American English grammar rules and ability to thoroughly proofread and edit documents.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience effectively managing projects from start through to completion with multiple team players.
  • Positive team player.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and an exceptional work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently while working remotely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Understanding of various social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn.
  • Understanding of B2B marketing preferred.
  • Passion for the PR industry and its best practices.
  • Preferably, related experience writing and editing for PR projects, and portfolio of relevant work.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.

MIN: $20/HR

MAX: $30/HR
