Assist in the development and execution of PR plans, including media outreach, event coordination, and communications strategies.
Manage media relations by maintaining relationships with journalists, responding to inquiries, and pitching relevant stories.
Draft and edit PR materials, such as press releases, media pitches, byline articles, FAQs, and briefing documents.
Support company spokespeople during media engagements, including interview preparation, briefing materials, and follow-up activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, Investor Relations, Product and Government Relations and others, to align messaging and strategy.
Monitor media coverage and compile reports on PR activity, tracking key performance metrics and providing insights to improve strategy.
Assist in coordinating media events, webinars, and press briefings.
Support data driven KPI reporting using Meltwater and other measurement tools.
Education
3-5 years of experience in public relations, a background working in both agency and in-house communications roles is preferred
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise communications.
Experience in managing media relations and securing media coverage.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in working across teams and collaborating on PR strategies.
Proficiency in using PR monitoring tools and tracking key performance indicators.
